The Monaco GP got off to a frenzy start, with incidents at the top of the grid, as well as at the back of the grid. Red Bull driver Sergio Perez suffered a massive crash, after receiving some contact from Kevin Magnussen. As a result, both Haas drivers and Sergio Perez’s race ended early, as a red flag was waved just a couple of corners into the first lap.

Sergio Perez started the race from the second last row, as Kevin Magnussen’s aggressive intent cause both the drivers, and Nico Hulkenberg’s race to end early.

Sergio Perez suffered terrible damage, as his car was completely written off. He lost three of the four wheels on his car, as there was plenty of debris left on the tracks. A wave flag was instantly waved due to the crash, as Sergio Perez went spinning through the barriers.

Carlos Sainz suffers early tyre puncture in Monaco

Carlos Sainz suffered an early puncture at the Monaco GP, as he had a minor collision with Oscar Piastri, who started the race in P2. The Spanish driver parked his car after the first corner, as Ferrari seemed to have suffered a massive loss in the first lap of the race.

However, the red flag has prompted Carlos Sainz back to his original place on the grid. The Ferrari driver managed to get his car back into the garage, as the grid order will be reverted to the original for the restart.

This would be a huge relief for Carlos Sainz and Ferrari who will be hoping to have two cars on the podium by the end of the race. Charles Leclerc, who grabbed his third pole position in Monaco in four years got off to a clean start. The Monaco based driver will be eager to claim his first win in his home race in Monaco.
